Another park issue we didn't discuss is trash cans and trash service. Just another cost and maintenance consideration. The maintenance may be handled by Randy (?) or whomever mows/shovels snow.

The lower part of the park was not able to be graded nor the park equipment put in prior to winter setting in late 2007. A time for grading and park equipment installation for spring 2008 has not yet been set.

At the annual HOA meeting (that occurred back in the spring) residents requested minutes of HOA meetings and contact information for members of the HOA board. I thought this site was for information sharing and thought that requested information would be provided here. Where is it?

Some board member info has been added as well as comments about the last meeting. Hopefully this is helpful.

A sign identifying Thompson Creek Park is being put in at the upper end (northwest corner) of the park. This is in lieu of a sign at the front of the association area since businesses have already placed a sign at the corner of Thompson Creek and 56th St.

Below is a listing of plants in the park. There are still some that need to be replaced and it will be necessary to keep plants watered this summer (2009) as most still have a fairly immature root system that does not reach down very low for moisture. A water spigot is not currently available in the park so that is an item that may be discussed at the annual meeting this spring.

Plants in the park:
(6) Firethorn
(3) Scarlet Oak
widlflowers and prairie grass
(2) Winter King Hawthorn
(60) Purple Leaf Wintercreepers
(3) Autumn Brillance Seviceberry
(46) Gro-low Sumac
(15) Fireworks Goldenrod
(2) Burr Oaks
(7) Black Hills Spruce
(3) Skyline HoneyLocust
Bison Blue Spruc
